JAMES LITLE and ELIZABETH RUSHING
    My 3rd gr-grandparents and their children. LYTLE spelling begins to appear in TN 1850's and eventually prevails. Spelled LITLE in 1834 bible and other early TN documents. Spelling is LITTLE and LITLE in a NC Court Document dated 1809.
    It should be noted here that JAMES LITLE died in NC prior to 1808 and Elizabeth married WILLIAM DEASON. She then moved, with her four Litle/Lytle children and other Rushing and Deason families, to Tennessee.
