1998 UPDATE: Gerry Renfrow, a descendant of the branch that remained in MO, frunished additional documented information. Some of her information was provided by Isaac's desendant, Corrine Cruise, and Nancy Browning who descends from Thomas J.

Mead J Haile was a pioneer preacher, teacher and farmer. In 1855+- he moved his large family from middle Tennessee to Missouri where they lived until sometime after the Civil War when they moved to Cooke County, Texas. In 1890, after his wife died and all his children but one were married, Mead moved back to Missouri to live out his life with his son Jackson who had remained there.
