I am looking for information concerning John Webb and Martha Patsy
(Landrum) Webb that lived in Bedford County TN in the 1829-1842 time frame.
John Webb and Martha Landrum were married on Jan 15, 1811 in Williamson
County TN.
They joined the Bedford County ENON Church in June 1829. My family Bible
says John died in 1835 while on a hunting trip to Indiana. John Webb was
very active in the Enon Church in the early 1830's and his last listing in
the meeting minutes of the Enon Church was in Aug 1833 he was again
appointed to the Association for that year.
John and Martha had a son Lewis E. Webb on Feb 1, 1830 and he is my direct
ancestor. They had Mary Webb abt 1815,and she married David G. Little on
July 12, 1835 Williamson County TN. They also, had Rebecca Webb b on May
9, 1819 in Rutherford County. Rebecca married John Woods July 29, 1845 in
Rutherford Co. TN.
Martha and 14 other members left the Bedford County Enon Church to form
another arm of the church at Mt. Pleasant in June 1840. Martha died Feb
11, 1842 and is buried in the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery near
Rockvale TN.
My John Webb's record ends, in Bedford County TN.If anyone knows any more

Andrew Jackson b. 8 Feb 1839
Alexander b. ca 1838
William R. b. ca 1847
Elizabeth is on the 1840 BEDFORD CO TN census. She is listed with 3 males and 1 female. I do
not know the name of the female child. Elizabeth's age is listed as between 30 and 40. Since her
last child is born in 1847, what does this imply? Was her husband gone at the time of the census? If
her last child was born in 1847, it would appear that he either returned or she had a son by another
man. This family does not appear on the 1850 census in this county.
I find them in SCOTT CO AR in 1860. Believe that they are going to be married into the Kilburn
family who is living in this county, too.
