Sylvanus married Jane Tristram of Ludlow, in 1823. They had the following children who were all given the middle name BOWEN, but I have been unable to find a relation by that name.

1. William Bowen, b. 1824, last located as shoemaker on 1841 census, Ludlow, but mentioned on sister's will, 1901. Where was he????

2. Elizabeth Bowen, b. 1826, married Bright, then Francis

3. Jane Bowen b. 1829, no more known

4. Amelia Bowen b. 1835 d. 1919, married George Stead 1835, my gt grandmother.

5. Mary Ann Bowen b. 1846, d. 1908. A dressmaker, never married.
