The on-going recession is deepening into a depression, and will be the deepest economic crisis in the US since the Great Depression of the 1930s. This is not an accident. We will be posting under this heading a number of articles from the mid-1970s to the present showing the repeated crises that have broken out every few years, the general decay that has affected different sectors of the economy, and some of the empty solutions that the ruling class has trumpeted.
