Coordinated experiential event for 400 participants focusing on how the world eats. Worked in conjunction with theNational Association of Social Workers' Violence and Development Project, Social Workers and the Challenge of Violence and the School of Social Work at UT-Austin.

"Make It Happen" Letter-Writing Campaign, School of Social Work, Fall, 1995

Battled student apathy by concieving of and organizing a 10 week letter-writing campaign. Sent out over 600 letters to state and national politicians regarding welfare reform, AFDC, Medicaid and Medicare, etc. Organized 7 volunteers and authored 8 sample letters.

School of Social Work Recycling Program, School of Social Work, Fall, 1994

Started the school's recycling program; organized 20 volunteers; wrote articles about the relationship between recycling (environmental justice) and social work.
