Amber, the dog.....

Amber is one of my really sweet sensitive dogs.  While most of my dogs would go with anyone, anywhere, she is one that knows her family and sticks by them.  You can run her off lead without a problem.  She is also a very feminine dog and is what I call an "Easy Keeper".  Visit her photo album for more on this lovely young girl.

Her Beginnings....

Amber was born July 10, 1999, in a litter of 8, 7 girls and 1 boy.  Her sire is Arte, American/Canadian CH. Barrenfield Artillery System.  Arte belongs to Jerry & Sandy Musyj of Barrenfield Kennels, of Amherstburg, Canada.  Her dam is Diamond, our foundation bitch, American/Canadian CH. Nanuke's Diamond in the Ruff.  This was Diamond's second litter, the girls looked so much alike that I had to put colored collars on them to tell them apart.  Amber and Angel were the two girls I had trouble deciding between, they both had excellent structure and movement.

In the Show Ring......

Amber is probably the best moving dog that I have here.  I have had people describe her as "poetry in motion".  One judge, after awarding her Best of Breed, called her a "take your breath away bitch".  Needless to say she is a pleasure to show.

Today.....

We would like to complete Amber's American Championship in 2002.  At least that is what our goal is.  She presently has one of her majors so she has a ways to go.  Recently she was Reserve Winners Bitch at the Chicagoland Alaskan Malamute Regional Specialty under breeder judge Victoria Jordan.
