Dillinger, the dog..... 04/05/2002
Better known as "Silly Dilly". Dillinger is one of my
young boys out of
Maverick. He is a sweet, sensitive little
teddy bear. I think he is going to look very much like his father.
When you see his photo gallery
compare the pictures that I have put in there of both he and his father at a
young age. You will be amazed at the similarity.
While they are very much alike, he has his differences as well. He has a better eye shape/set then his dad, he has a
gorgeous coat, and has a little more bone than his father does too. He is
more cobbier in body, or not
quite as long in body, as Maverick is. All in all he is a his father's
son with a few "improvements" but with that same great
temperament.
His Beginnings.....
Born Dillinger is the son of
Mandy, American CH. Zardal Leading Lady owned by
Audrey Thomas of Zardal Kennels, Mt. Morris, NY. Mandy finished her
championship in the states at the age of 13 months.
His sire was
Maverick, CH. Moon Song's Top Gun,
known as Maverick, owned by Crosswynd's Kennels. This was a
repeat breeding which produced 12 puppies.
Parker, American/Canadian CH. Crosswynd-Zardal's Nnite Moves
is Dillinger's big brother.
In the Show Ring......
Dillinger is still young and has not had much ring experience. He went to the National Specialty in 2000 and did very well in sweepstakes and his class. His father matured at a late age and I think he will develop later too. He has a great attitude and is very animated, he is going to be a fun dog to show. So we have been just giving him the time to grow up and mature out.
Today.....
Dillinger just turned 2 years of age recently and we are going to try him out at a few shows this summer. Hopefully he will be well received and will finish quickly.
