General Info

The Castle Hills Administrative Office, Police, Fire and Public Works Departments are located at 209 Lemonwood Dr. You can reach us by calling 210-342-2341.

The City of Castle Hills operates as an incorporated municipality and lies wholly within the north central part of the City of San Antonio. The City boundaries are Jackson Keller Road on the south, Lockhill Selma Road on the north, Blanco Road on the east and the T&NORR tracks on the west.

Castle Hills' Commons Area

The Common's Committe has hosted a couple of "planting days" at the Commons. Plants were donated and there were many citizens that volunteered their time and tools to help beautify the Commons. Although some plants are doing better than others, they will survive. The benches have been dedicated, the walking track is in great shape and cool weather is just around the corner. It's nice to see that many of you having been taking advantage of the walking track in the mornings. I've seen a few "hot weather addicts" walking or jogging in the afternoon too! It'll be great to see you too at the walking track.

Loop 410 Expansion

The Loop 410 expansion is causing lots of headaches, but is moving ahead.

Here's the latest...

  • The NW Military Highway bridge is now open both ways. Those of you that had been using an alternate route, I'm sure are pleased with the ease of being able to access Loop 410 east bound. I've heard comments from a few business owners that have noticed the increase in traffic and real pleased.
  • Loop 410 between Honeysuckle & Jackson Keller - to be completed late August 2004 or early September 2004.
