Did you ever wish you could copy part of a Web Page for future reference? Well Netscape will let you copy text to Windows Clipboard.
Suppose you were reading about a product that was for sale on a Web Page, and you wanted to save the information to compare to similar articles or products.
Instead of grabbing a pen, pencil and notepad. You could easily copy the text to the Windows Clipboard. While in Clipboard you could just save it or better yet, paste it into your favorite word processor. You could then name it 4SALE.DOC or something else pertaining to the subject. Then simply paste other articles of interest to that same file.
At any rate you would have an exact copy and you wouldn't have to worry about making mistakes when you wrote it, like, copying it out of context. You can see how having an exact copy and not just a summary would be an extra but, the time saving is the real benefit.
Netscape let's you Select and Copy quite like most of
word processors do. Here is how.
This tip can be a powerful tool for acumulating data for any type of reference document, from the job to a vacation itenirary.
