Amanda and Sage had spent the night with us. We had
taken them to see Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show down in the
Stockyards, and afterwards, we had bought all day tickets to
the rides, and so of course, we were dead tired.
When we finally got home, and got the girls in bed, I
asked them what they wanted for breakfast. They both said, "Eggs and bacon."
I thoutht to myself, "Boy, that sounds too easy."
The girls got up early Sunday morning and both were ready for their breakfast. Amanda wanted scrambled eggs with tortillas. Sage wanted eggs with just the white around a piece of cheese in the middle, so I fried her an egg.
She said, "No Grammy, this isn't what I wanted."
PaPa ate it. I asked her again, and she said,"The egg with the white wrapped around cheese."
I made her an omelet with cheese in it.
She started crying and wailing, "Grammy, I don't like this.
I asked her again and she hollered, "The white of egg wrapped around the cheese in the middle."
Amanda then said, "Let's call her mom."
I dialed her mom and asked, "What kind of egg has white wrapped around cheese in the middle?"
She said, "Gloria, she wants a boiled egg."
