The Texas and Pacific Railroad Museum is in Mineola, Texas. Its officers are retired Caller Jack Airhart, president; retired Labor Relations Officer Les Trotter, vice president; Dorothy Smith (wife of Conductor Sam Smith), secretary-treasurer; Retired Conductor Ben Mabe (Big Spring), Curator.
The museum is located downtown in the old depot. The museum containe many pictures old books and railroad artifacts.
Old Texas and Pacific Train, Engine and Yard employees will remember the old Call Board, which has been saved and moved to the museum. Jack Airhart says that the board still has most of the name block on it. The board is a frame with horizontal wires. The wooded name blocks each have two cuphooks which suspend them from the wires.

Mineola has a railroad days celebration that is called the Iron Horse Festival. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13.
