who while working hump job reported bad tie conditions in Track
43 and recommended we take track out of service until it could be
repaired.

of the 7:00 A.M. Hostler job, for finding a broken rail on Track
103.

August 29, Yardmaster Jerry Martin recognizes Switchman Tommy
Thrower, who found a broken rail in front of lead at peach yard.
We had 2 jobs working and if he had not found it, it might have
caused a derailment.

August 30, Locomotive Engineer Cy Martin recognizes Trainman B.J.
McMeans who found broken rail in bowl lead.

August 30, Locomotive Engineer Cy Martin recognizes Switch Foreman
S.O. Minyard who found broken rail at crossover.

August 30, Yardmaster Hal Self recognizes Switchman Bill Gaston,
who was able to stop two cars that rolled out of bowl 23, and
tied them down before they hit the side of YFW51 and a backhoe
sitting at the Bowl Crossing.

September 9, MYO Henry Alvarado recognizes Conductor J.D. Cochran,
Brakeman J.W. Lindsey III, and Locomotive Engineer D.L. Youngblood
who were able to stop a cut of cars rolling out of Track 7 at BOP
in Arlington, before they could cause damage to equipment.

MYO Henry Alvarado on September 9, recognizes Conductor W.M. Mann
Jr and Locomotive Engineer E.E. Camp III, who reported crossties
and steel on top of track at Mile Post 232.3

Conductor S.T. Mathis recognizes Brakeman T.G. Earnhart, about
2:00 A.M. September 4, found a transient passed out on tracks. We
were able to stop the train and he escorted the Transient off
company property.

September 10, Yardmaster Jerry Martin recognizes Locomotive
Engineer Bill Alford. While delivering his drag to Ney Yard, he
spotted a crosstie sticking out of a car. He reported it and they
were able to remove it before it caused any damage or injury.

September 10, MYO Paul Harryman recognizes Brakeman J.D.
Huckabee, of Dodger 9, who reported the Number Two Main Line
Switch at the East End of BOP was gapped. We were able to repair
the switch and prevented a possible derailment.

September 13, MYO Larry Cormack recognizes G.L.Foster, who while
working as Conductor pulling cars out of Pioneer at Chico,
noticed one car was leaning to one side. The car was found to be
mis-loaded or overloaded, and was set out to be corrected, thus
preventing possible derailment.

September 13, Yardmaster John Temple recognizes Switchman Billy
Hille for being able to stop a runaway coming out of Track 44.

September 15, MYO Henry Alvarado recognizes Conductor George
Henderson and Locomotive Engineer Don Radzewicz who while
spotting the Auto Ramp Facility at BOP in Arlington, noticed all
the bolts were broken off the Number 3 Track Frog.
