Maintenance of Way is moving right along with re-organization. Our director, Bobby Mosier, has his office in the Crest Building.
On February 13, Bobby held a Town Hall Safety Meeting with Maintenance of Way employees from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It was very informing. Introductions of personnel were made.
Bobby gave us a verbal resume of his work experience with the railroad -- a varied and extensive career.
Abilene to Mineola will have four Managers of Track Maintenance Officers. Positions below grade 18 will not be set until approximately March 15.
Many folks are anxious to get the new territories and positions assigned.
The major holidays are behind us once again. We just had Presidents' Day. Our next one will be the end of March. Easter should prove to be an experience with our three year old granddaughter.
Just before Easter is Spring Break for the school children. We just started a new year, and already spring is just around the corner.

There will be some Headquarters changes for some of our people in Maintenance of Way. Most of us find this part of reorganization gets the blood flowing and interest up in what is going on. It definitely gives us something to talk about.
The construction around Tower 55 continues. Have you noticed how tall some of the highway bridges will be?
The Bowl Project is pretty well complete -- what a facelift for an old girl.
