The North Texas Chapter of the NRHS meets at Irving Parks Garden & Arts Building at 906 S. Senter St. on the 1st Tuesday of each month, from 7 to 10 P.M.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 4th. It'll be bring-your-20-slides night. There's no particular topic. Just members bringing their own material with no particular theme except Railoading.
At the February meeting, Mr. Steve Goen presented a slide program on the material he is gathering for his upcoming all color book on the Texas & Pacific .
He is seeking additional color slides or quality color prints of 600 class 2-10-4' in freight service. He also needs: steam and diesel photos of the Texarkana-Whitesboro line, action between Dallas & Texarkana/Shreveport, especially steam. If East Texas and West Louisiana guys have something to share, he would be grateful.
