We have had three incidents so far this year on the expanded Fort Worth Service Unit. Two of these incidents come under the slip, trip and fall category. Let this be a reminder for all of us to be constantly alert to where we are walking and to be aware of tripping hazards. At the writing of this article, the cumulative index for the system has not been posted.

February is Eye Injury Prevention Month. Do not forget the cardinal safety rules. Serious eye injuries can be prevented by wearing safety glasses.

It has certainly been an eventful winter thus far. We have gone from days of ice and snow to days of steady rain. Everyone is really doing well and being very aware of the weather conditions.

Congratulations are in order for the great job being done by everyone. Let's all of us keep using the safe work habits that keep us arriving home safely every day.

Safety is our Responsibility.
