The crew room at Browder Yard got a badly needed facelift recently. Holes in the walls were patched, ceiling tiles replaced and a fresh coat of paint on the walls and doors.
Additionally, a small room off of the crew room was remodeled and painted s o that it can be turned into an office for Foremen/Conductors to complete paper work and talk on the phone. The telephone, fax machine and computer terminal will be relocated to a desk in this "mini office"insead of being located in various places a round the crew room.
Some crew members jokingly commented that someone should have written down all of the phone numbers that were on the wall before the paint was applied.
