May 9, Engineer Truman Brooks was recognized by Engineer M.J. Collins for the disaster relief work he does each year. Every year Truman takes off as a volunteer worker with his church to help out in some disaster area. This year he in the Dakotas helping with flood relief. Last year it was to help out with earthquake relief. Another year it was to help out a community destroyed by a tornado. He does this on his own time and expense.
