Engineer Gary Shotwell and his wife Kay were in an auto accident which has left Kay paralyzed. Gary has been forced to take one of the midnight switcher's at Miller Yard to have day-time off to care for Kay.

By special arrangement with UP management, Employees may donate up to a total of sixty days in 1997 to the Shotwell family.

Here is how you may donate Vacation and personal leave days:

Trainmen and Switchmen may donate personal leave days and days of vacation. Trainmen and Switchmen contact Billy Percival at Miller yard phone 372-7415.
Engineers may donate vacation days to be taken from their weekly vacation one, two, three, days as they designate. Engineers contact Engineer J. A. "Butch" McClelland phone 972-878-7074.
