Eight teams from the southern region participated in the event. the "Dawgs" emerged as champions with a 4-0 record. the "Loose Canons" from the Dallas/Fort Worth Area fought off a pesky "Lewis Rail Service" team to take second place.
Lewis Rail Service was the surprise team of the day and showed it by coming from behind and defeating six year champions "Fort Worth Diesel Shop".
"Brax-Attack" landed the fifth place position and the Building and Bridge Department's "Headhunters" took sixth place.
Rounding out the tournament was the "Fort Worth Shop" and the Building and Bridge Team.
A fun time was had by all and T-shirts for first through third place were handed out. Team trophies for first through fourth place were given to each teams' support manager.
A karoka "sing off" was won by Umpire Bill Barron.
An estimated 268 people attended the event.
