I. We are in CTC and come to a Stop Indication. We call the Dispatcher and are informed that the control machine does not indicate the switch is lined and locked. We are instructed to pass the signal and operate the switch by hand. In this situation are we required to get Track and Time before we place the dual control switch in hand operation?
A. Yes.
B. No.

II. We are on a Local in CTC and we need to switch in and out of a siding. We would like to place the dual control switch in hand operation for these moves. Do we need Track and Time that includes the switch plus permission to hand throw the switch?
A. Yes.
B. No.

III. We are on a work train and we have Track and Time from Control Point 100 to Control Point 130 including the sidings. We want to place the dual control switch in hand operation at CP 120. Is our Track and Time all the authority we need for this operation?
A. Yes.
B. No.

IV. We pass an Approach Signal, we reduce our speed to 30 MPH prepared to stop at the next signal. We reach a point where we can see the next signal and see a Clear Indication. Are we required to continue moving prepared to stop at the signal?
A. Yes.
B. No.

V. Refering to the previous question. Since we can see the next signal is Clear and we are not required to stop short of it, can we increase our speed at this point?
A. Yes.
B. No.
