Robert and I had just returned from a wonderful thanksgiving dinner with all our children and decided to bring Sage and Amanda home with us so they could spend the night.
It was about five o'clock in the evening and the son was going down behind the Stockyards. I called the girls to come in about 10 minutes later. Sage came running in, her eyes were large and she was very excited, She was hollering, "MiMi, MiMi! Hurry, come see the miracle."
In my mind, I was wondering how does a 4-year old use the word "miracle," let alone, know what it means?
Anyway, we all ran out the back door, and low and behold, it was a miracle. The sky was ablaze with the most orange and blue colors I had ever seen.
Sage took my hand, smiled and said, "See, MiMi, I told you it was a miracle."
She was right. This beautiful work of God's was truly a miracle.
Together We stood on the hill, and watched until it was dark.
Sage turned to me and said, "Let's go in the house now. Jesus just turned out the light." .
