Mr. A. J. "Poppa" Bailiff, 85, died Wednesday, February 4, 1998, at Grand Saline. He was born March 27, 1912.
He retired from the T&P Railroad after 42 years of service. He had worked in the mechanical departments Mineola, Longview, Texakana, Shreveport, Marshall and Fort Worth. He retired as Assistant Master Mechanic, in Shreveport.
Buried buried Friday, February 6 at 10 a.m. in Grand Saline.
