Jacob Haslam attains Eagle Scout

Jacob Haslam, a 1997 graduate of Martin High School in Arlington,Texas, recently attained Scouting's Highest Honor, the rank of Eagle Scout. He has been a Scout for over ten years.

Jacob graduated from high school with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the Martin High School Choir.

He received an Honor's Scholarship and is currently attending the University of Texas at Arlington.

Jacob is the son of the late Stephen Haslam and LaDon Haslam, Administrative Aide in the Superintendents's Office in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the grandson of Shirley Haslam, retired Manager of Administration and Purchasing, Salt Lake City, Utah; nephew of John G. Carter, Engineer, Milford, Utah; and railroad cousins of Jason Carter, Engineer Trainee, Salt Lake City and John C. Carter, Signalman, Caliente, Nevada.
