I. We have a 75 car train and we have to pick up 25 more in route. The cars we are to pick up are not a solid block. We have a hand held guage, so, can we do our brake test before we add the cars to the train?

II. Refering to the previous question, after we have walked the application, can we inspect the release by draging the cars by us on the way to the main line?

III. Same situation as above, we have the pickup to make, but this time we do not have a hand held guage. Is there any part of the brake test we can do before adding the cars to the train?

IV. Refering to question three, we bring the cars to our train on the main track. We charge the system and set the brakes. We walk to the head end checking the application on each car. Now the release has to be checked. We are not in a postion where we can drag the cars past us, so, do we have to walk the release on the pick up even though the brakes show to be released on the rear of the train?

V. We have walked the release. Can we now shove the train back to pick ourselves up, per Rule 6.6?
