An Operation Red Block Chili Feed was held March 10 at the Crest Building. Approximately 425 persons were fed.
Participating were Locomotive Engineer Dennis Mitchell, Carman Tony Hatley, Engineer Joe Walker, Engineer Wayne Amos and Employee Assistance Consultant Jan Curtis and myself.
Chili was served from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
As Chairman of the Red Block Committee I wish to thank Superintendentg Joe Whalen and the other committee members for their continued support of Operation Red Block.
Another feed is planned for Ney Yard later this month. The schedule will be announced on the bulletin board.
