February 1 - FW-23-98 B.R. Lawrence -- North end of Bridge at North Yard, Where old Rock Island(OUT) goes underneath the tracks, walkway boards need to be replaced. One is missing, one next to it is loose. The other side is also bad (Not main line but the Siding.) Bill Wheeler repaired 2/3/98.

February 2 - FW-24-98 -- M.H. Crabtree, Ney Yard - The new radios are dangerous, cannot hear at 10 lengths cars or more, cannot hear if Engineer is on the hill and we are in a hole. Jerry Adams and Bob Herring.

February 2 - FW-25-98 -- C. R. Smith, Everman Job - Have a track oiler that is not working, just south of Shanty on the Lead. John Taylor advises not a safety item, but he will refill.

February 4 - FW-26-98 -- Anonymous from Bowl - Switches on 32 Lead and Throat need cleaned and serviced, hard to throw. John Taylor OK'd switches 2/4.

February 4 - FW-27-98 -- H.B. Cook, Ney Yard - Personal safety equipment Machine at Ney yard is empty and stays empty, need to remove. Jerry Adams contacted Star Vending to supply machines.

February 5 - FW-28-98 -- Anonymous - Switches South Lead No. 7 & 16 need adjusted and all others need oiled on South Lead at Ney. John Taylor OK'd 2/6.

February 9 - FW-29-98 -- Conductor W.C. Baker - Limo driver, went to sleep en route to Pilot Point, he told us that when return to Fort Worth, he would take 24 hours off to rest. About 1 pm today, he was at the Crest in his van, asleep, waiting for another crew. Henry Alvarado contacted James Worden, Manager, McCormack Limo, advising him we will not tolerate this. Mr. Worden to handle with driver. Peter Nipp also contacted Manager McCormack, to address issue.

February 9 - FW-30-98 -- J.W. Lindsey - Arlington needs a charger for the new radios. Gene Garrett advises charger placed at Arlington 2/20.

February 9 - FW-31-98 -- Anonymous - Have no hand mikes on engines, we are having to stop trains in order to copy orders, need hand held mikes for engine radios. Peter Nipp contacted Service Track and they have ordered mikes.

February 9 - FW-32-98 -- Jackie Gregor - New type hand held radios do not have range of power the older ones had. Have been on west end and Crest could not hear me. A better antenna would help. Peter Nipp.

February 10 - FW-33-98 -- D. J. Thomas - At BOP, have the new radios with no way to charge them. Gene Garrett has charger for new radios 2/20.

February 15 - FW-34-98 -- R. McKnown - Tracks 45 & 46 slick with mud, safety hazard John Taylor ordered ballast.

February 17 - FW-35-98 -- John Temple - Switch point covering 301 to 304 has piece of top broken off. John Taylor replaced switch point tip.

February 18 - FW-36-98 -- J. C. McKinstry - Switches on both ends of Miller need attention, need cleaned, oiled, etc. Danny Fletcher OK'd 2/16.

February 19 - FW-37-98 -- Anonymous - Top of Bowl in rest room, faucet needs to be replaced, handle is broken. T.A. Carpenter repaired 2/19.

February 22 - FW-38-98 -- J.P. Norris - Green Oaks Van used to haul crews is very dangerous, passenger's door will not open from inside, back door when you open will not stay open, but will hit you, back seat is unsafe. Steve Plyler.

February 24 - FW-39-98 -- W.R. Arrington, YFW61-23 - Derail at Trinity Plant 26, Hodge, is bad order, when you flop to derail, it falls on inside. John Taylor repaired 2/5.

February 25 - FW-40-98 -- Craig Martin - Switch east end 34 Bowl, switch handle is bent about 45 degrees making switch hard to throw. John Taylor replaced 2/26.

February 26 - FW-41-98 -- Anonymous Switchman - Inert retarder wires are on the ground at the Bowl, Track 39, they need to be moved. Keith Corley advises construction in process, have previously issued "footing" notice for this area.

February 26 - FW-42-98 -- Anonymous - Lights south end lead at Dallas Miller Yard TP215 are not working between 5 switch and 12 switch. Tom Carpenter replaced lights 3/2.

February 26 - FW-43-98 -- John Temple - Has been reported that 301 and 301 switches. Each have a small gap. John Taylor OK'd 3/2.
