Harold Callicott, 71, a retired railroad switchman, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Harold Callicott was born Dec. 31, 1926, in Lynn, Ala. He lived in the Fort Worth area for 51 years and retired in 1978 as a switchman from Union Pacific Railroad after 30 years of service.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Vonaree Callicott of North Richland Hills; son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Linda Callicott of North Richland Hills; daughter, Gwen Burleson of North Richland Hills; brother, Joe Callicott of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters, Francis Quinn of Crane Hill, Ala., Ruth Laughlin of Sheffield, Ala., Evelyn Carter of Birmingham and Gera Engle of Wyandott, Mich.; and grandchildren, Steven Callicott of North Richland Hills and Shelly Callicott of North Richland Hills.
