Refugio R. "Cuco" Lopez, 91, a retired Texas & Pacific Railroad laborer, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Refugio R. "Cuco" Lopez was born Sept. 16, 1906, in Guanajuato, Mexico. He came to Texas from Mexico in 1922. He retired from Texas & Pacific Railroad in 1966.
Survivors: Wife of over 60 years, Maria D. Lopez; sons, Eugene Lopez and his wife, Jessica, of Fort Worth and Refugio D. Lopez Jr. and his wife, Martha, of San Diego, Calif.; daughters, Felix Garcia and her husband, Benny, of The Colony, Eva Bassford and her husband, Robert, of Alamogordo, N.M., Tommie Elliott of Fort Worth, Velia Gonzales and her husband, John, of Sugar Land and Tina Gomez and her husband, Ismael, of Fort Worth; sisters, Concha Naviz of Ohio and Jesus Alcanta of Mexico; 27 grandchildren; and 49 great-grand- children.
