3/19 Yardmaster Jon Temple recognizes V.J. Damera, Sr. who noted wheel sliding on YFW63 drag leaving Bowl. We stopped drag and had wheel corrected without any damage.
3/22 Car Foreman S. Reyna recognizes Carman Tom Fuller, Train MFWCB, for finding and reporting tri-level, CNW 711873, in Track 307 with load shifted & tie downs broken.
3/23 yardmaster Richard Jacobs recognizes: Pilots, R. L. Tapp, R. J. McDonald, and R. S. Liles on spray truck for their contribution getting track sprayed. Also Train YFW11 D. E Cinnamon, T. A. Laney and W. J. Howard; and Train YFW15 S. O. Minyard, C. W. Fowler and J. R. Haggard.
Yardmaster Richard Jacobs recognizes crew of YFW53, Ney yard Job of 22nd, T. C. Austin, C. E. Rouse, and M. H. Walllace with 30" to work they doubled into a track so we could continue to build trains.
3/24 Ed Shearer recognizes David Cinnamon for stopping a rollout at the Bowl.
3/30 Yardmaster Steve Bruce recognizes crew of YDA76, Engineer L.J. Williams, Foreman Roger Bock, Switchman Mark hamilton who found a broken rail at Vista Fibre preventing a derailment.
4/6 Brakeman J. W. Lindsey recognizes Engineer R. L. Batts. While working BOP lead, he found and reported broken rail.
4/7 Conductor E. Norburg recognizes Brakeman R. C. Johnson who spotted a broken rail on Centex, Fox/Jacobs lead at Carrollton and prevented a possible major derailment.
4/12 Yardmaster Steve Garrett recognizes Mark Carr and Don Worthington. About 6 pm they found a down power line across a vehicle parked at the Bowl Yard and quickly reported it. Also Kenny Amos who heard the conversation and went to the area to keep anyone from coming in contact with the wire until help arrived.
4/13 Car Foreman Dennis Carpenter recognizes Carman Mike Taylor, who found a wheel with a shattered rim, acfx 83220. His action saved major problems that could have caused a derailment.
