I. You pick up a locomotive on line of road. It would be much easier to put this unit on the head end, but it is not equiped with ditch lights. Can you use this unit as a lead unit if another unit in the consist is equiped with ditch lights?

II. If you have no units in your consist equiped with ditch lights, you must get another unit if one is available at that location. If there is not another unit, can you move this train?

III. If one ditch light on the lead unit fails enroute, the train may continue at what speed?

IV. Refering to the previous question, how long can this unit continue in service?

V. During a daily inspection of a locomotive consist, if a trailing unit's ditch lights do not work, this is a:
