
Remember the Milk Bottle Cap Game? When I was in Nash Elementary School during the 1940s, the kids made up a lot of the games they played. The Milk Bottle Cap Game was one of them, and it didn't cost very much.
We could hardly wait until Recess or Lunch Period to head for the play ground with a pocket full of bottle caps.
Two kids would play. The first player would throw a bottle cap on the ground. The second player would try to throw a cap on top of the first one. If it touched the cap on the ground, he could keep it.
If he missed, the first player could try to land one of his caps on the second player's cap.
At the end of recess or the lunch period, the player with the most bottle caps won. You can see by the picture, that I wasn't a very good at it.
