Ronald "Ronny" Smith, 47, a conductor for Missouri Pacific Railroad, died Sunday, April 5, 1998, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Benbrook United Methodist Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Benbrook Funeral Home.
Ronald "Ronny" Smith was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Fort Worth. He loved fishing, bowling and bingo, and he loved to cook.
Survivors: Wife, Maxine Smith of Benbrook; son, Scott Smith of Benbrook; parents, Gene "Buddy" and Peggy Smith of Fort Worth; father-in- law, John Marbach and his wife, Betty, of Benbrook; brothers, Eddie Smith of Saginaw and Bobby Smith of Fort Worth; sister, Brenda Pettaway of Fort Worth; and numerous nephews and nieces.
