May 17 - Yardmaster JD Brewer at Miller Yard, Recognizes RW Phillips. He noticed sparks coming from a loaded flat car, stopped the car and was able to prevent a possible derailment.
May 28, Yardmasters Jon Temple and Doug Knowlton recognize Locomotive Engineer Mickey Cowling, YFW16. Mickey spotted a car rolling eastward in Track 203 and was able to stop it and prevent a derailment.
June 7, The crew of FW3034 Job recognizes Yardmaster Christi Bruner. At about 1:15 a.m. she saw a car jumping, spotted it and was able to get car stopped preventing possible derailment.
June 10, Yardmaster Jenny Mach recognizes Henry Crabtree and crew of YFW80 for finding and reporting car on fire at Ney yard.
June 16, Engineer Jim Hicks recognizes Maintenance of Way Foreman Monty Oates on 5/6 at Abilene, Mr. Oates was off duty, stopped at a crossing, he saw and reported a shifted load of lumber on train. He then assisted Conductor Ted Way in setting car out and making shove.
June 18, Engineer Dennis Mitchell and Yardmaster Richard Jacobs recognize Foreman Dale Turner, YFW-25, for stopping rollout out of the Bowl.
June 18, Engineer Dennis Mitchell recognizes Engineer Gary Pfnister and Foreman JD Hall spotted and reported Trinity River Bridge on fire. Engineer Pfnister took his fire extinquisher and was able to surpress the fire until the Fire Department arrived and was able to soak the bridge with water.
