Motor Car Number 45 at Rosliyn Terminal. The object on the ground is a telephone magneto. There was a pile of old "crank type" wooden box telephones on the south side of the engine house, where they had been discarded. The men told me I could have anything I wanted off of them. I salvaged this magneto. I suppose the telephones were removed from service when double track interurban service ceased some years before and the railroad began working on timetable rules.
