Dana and Matt's Garage - The Story So Far
| The slabs were poured last week and given a few days to cure. They started and finished the upper landing for the stairs today. This is the bottom landing. A slight miscalculation in the length of the stair run means the stairs will be deeper and shallower than planned, which is a good thing. They will be more comfortable to go up and down. |

We decided to bring the landing out to the corner of the building so we can sit and watch the world go by. It's a small space, but just big enough for a couple chairs or a plant or two. |
| Here you can see a little better how big it will be. Four feet wide and maybe thirteen or so feet long. | ![]() |

That hole in the fence is where the entry door will go. It's right at the angle where the fence meets the tree. There will be a header for added strength and to prevent the fence from moving around too much. |
| As you can see the siding is all done. It looks nice but needs to be painted. The fence needs to be sealed as well before stuff starts growing up around it. | ![]() |

So here is the almost completed shell. There is still lots to do inside, but that will have to wait its turn. |
