Dana and Matt's Garage - The Story So Far

Its been a while but there has not been as much activity as in preceeding months. The building, fence, and automatic gate have long since been finished, except for painting and staining. The bathroom was recently finished and we are waiting for the electrician to a little work inside. There are some fixtures, lights, fans, etc. to install, and one line to run for the gate. The carpet has been ordered and should be arriving in the next couple of days. Here are some pictures while the final cleaning is being done in anticipation of carpet installation.

I had to have a sink custom made. The vanity is not actually a bathroom vanity and has a drawer where there is usually a false front. We like the drawer, so had a sink made to fit next to the drawer.
Used if for the first time. It really works. We are finally a two bathroom family.
Looking towards the closets. Cleanup is well underway.
Looking towards the street and the bathroom. The other walls are a sandy color called Parisian Taupe. The carpet is a cream color to match the little yellow dog.
Closet walls with hand-stamped designs cut out of sponges. This is actually a lighter pinker wall with oyster and gold trim and swirls.
Not the true color, but you can see the shapes, which are a lovely spring green. The wall is oyster. My friend Sarah helped paint the closet. We had a lot of fun stamping and swirling the pearlescent colors on the walls.
No page would be complete without a picture of the boy.
