RC Copper and Ultra Thin Marine Copper and Ultra Thin
How about an inexpensive, easy to install modification you can do yourself?
Need more torque?
Would you like to run that large spindle (go faster) on your Go-Ped without bogging down the engine or loosing low end power?
Want to spin that large prop on your plane or boat?
Don’t want to pay a machinist for what you can do yourself!
One of the first steps in hopping up an engine is to increase compression ratio and gain proper head clearance. Until now cutting the cylinder base on a lathe was your only avenue.
Install one of my .005 (1/4 standard thickness) gaskets. Instantly increase compression and gain proper head clearance.
For those needing consistent head clearance with stroker and 27cc motors, we have a solution for you as well. Stock thickness (.020) copper gaskets.
How about those folks tired of replacing substandard gaskets with another substandard gasket?
Running Alcohol....need I say more. HRS Super Copper Gaskets.

Prototype Gasket

At the time of testing, I was not a Go-Ped owner, I did borrow a good friend of mine's for R&D work. The California Go-Ped used for testing was a G23LH powered Liquimatic. I used regular unleaded gasoline, mixed 32:1 with Amsoil. Conditions were 85°F at 36% humidity. My street is slightly angled so bear that in mind when interpreting the results. Data was taken with an on-board Sendec tachometer that collects maximum rpm attained.
Improved dramatically with the H&R Ultra Thin Gasket.
1/2 second consistent reduction on a straight, 300-foot, uphill acceleration path was timed
Personally, I am 5’9” and 185 lbs and older than most scooter riders. Obviously, I am not your typical Go-Ped rider. My point here is that if this kind of improvement can be realize with an inexperienced (and heavier) rider, then further improvements should be attainable with “Pro’s” like you.
My experience with Zenoah’s is in RC Boats. I did note that the stock LH motor is not nearly as modified as our boat (G23PUM (2D style), RC230 and G231/260PUM) engines. Stock LH ports and carb are small and no tuned pipe. Coupling my gasket to internal mod’s and bolts-on’s, should really "wake" up the LH Zenoah.

Recommend adding a Split Lock and Flat Washer to prevent cylinder bolts from loosening.
I asked Dean if he and his son had been riding their Go-Ped since I returned it with my Ultra Thin Gasket installed.
Dean's response..."You bet. Chandler has been riding the @#%&* out of it. The major difference I've noticed is sustaining revs off the line. Every since it was brand new, with my weight on it, it would bog down off the start. Now it maintains off the line. Great improvement. Thanks"
Just to give a point of reference, Dean is built like a football player...
Hi friends (message posted on Jim's RC Boat Dock)
After
a disappointing day at the lake Saturday I came home to find my new Hanson pipe
and thin gaskets setting at my front door. After installing both I
went back to the lake this morning and on the first run I finally made my goal
of 60 mph, actually she hit 64. It was a perfect day and everything went great,
man this is fun.
