Home Up

tons...tons of carbon

no timing cover

broken linkage

more broken linkage

guess what... more broken linkage

missing grommet

engine started up right away when I figured out what this little gem was and how to operate it. I did replace every inch of fuel line and pull off carbs and clean

a disaster in the making

my wife's burned pans aren't this bad

damaged cowl. I did take a propane torch on the inside and bend this back and plastic welded.

Rubber hoses were hard...real hard

adding thermostats...there were none.

this is really an after pic... carbs cleaned and reinstalled

not homemade block off plate for oil injection.

someone painted this think with a brush. CLE lower unit appears to be in good shape. No leaks, dings or missing chunks

I've seen birthday cakes with thinner icing than this

It's amazing how long it took me to clean this.

Tuner is sitting at bottom of mid-secion

that C ring is a bitch to remove to get to this point.

Now the real story...

Evil little part on the right

F-ing A!!!! Solid mounts

tools to get the job done

Tuner is about a foot away from it's home

Nasty

cracked like a California fault line

looks like a missing tooth

this is what happens to your shaft with no tuner installed.

Nice sound from these

a preview of the future... bitchin looking boat

Don't ask

don't ask here either

new gaskets added

where's the seal?

looks like cancer

maybe AIDS instead of cancer

Herpes?

the only way to remove and engine. bought a lifting ring for $30 on ebay

cable sitting in back of my truck...this failed in the driveway, but not at the lake!

I fixed this crack with plastic welder
