Huh? Wha? Does all this matter? Of course it doesn't. What a load a hooey, stop pulling my leg, stop wasting my time, what am I doing here?

Who says this generation is apathetic? Who says it's negative? What a crock. I'm not even part of it and I know that ain't so. You can't generalize like that. It ain't fair. Who have you met? Who do you know? Have you interviewed enough people to know? I certainly haven't.

OK in that case we can only speak about what we know, what we've seen, who we've met. Everything beyond that is hearsay or speculation. What am I talking about? Who's asking? Who wants to know?

I admit it, I've got this nervous twitch, I keep looking over my shoulder, I keep thinking somethings going on behind me back, something I oughta know about. And I know I'm right about this. But it stops there. I don't investigate. Why bother? It ain't going to get me anywhere. I've seen it before. What's in it for me?

Right. Nowhere to go, nothing to do, it's all been done already and done better. Might as well jump off a bridge. But naah, that would be too easy. There's gotta be something worth putting time into, doesn't there?

Volunteer for something you say? Help a worthy cause? I don't think so. Sorry, I left my goody two shoes at home.

Like what's his name from Nirvana once said, "I'm a negative creep." And I don't even need drugs to make me that way.

I've got all the wonderful folks in this world to thank for that.
