Besides being the wildestfront-man in the Deep Ellum scene, Turner is probably best known as the guy who punched out Nirvana's Kurt Cobain onstage in 1991 at the Dallas venue "Trees" during Nirvana's first Texas tour. Geffen Record's videotape of the altercation has been widely distributed and Cobain's widow, Courtney Love of Hole, is said to still be seeking revenge. Background: born in Colorado, raised in Dallas. Previous bands: Sedition and Talon (both speed metal ). Seditionhas a track featured on the Dude You Rock (Triple-X Records) compilation of early Deep Ellum bands. A local union stage hand since the early 1980's on shows for Iggy , The Exploited and The Ramones, etc. Turner's also respected "bone sculpture" artist who's toured with Ministry and Cypress Hill as "Bone Technician" and Stage Designer, creating Ministry's skull & bones set for Lollapalooza '92 and Psalm 69 tour in '93.In addition, he created the video set design for Ministry's "Do YouThink I'm Sexy" and Cypress Hill's " Insane In The Membrane"shoots, and a spectacular"bone throne" for Kirk Hammett of Metallica.

Mark Schafer - (Bass, backup vocals)
Mark's got a primo Dallas hardcore and punk rock pedigree, having played with both the infamous Joe Christ And The Healing Faith and Hash Palace, two of Dallas' seminal '80s scene-makers. Hash Palace is immortalized by their lone Euro album on Resonance Records (Semaphore, Netherlands ).Background: born in Chicago, moved to Dallas in 1982. An army brat who's been kicked off of every military base his family ever lived on. A bonafide graduate of Father Flannigan's Boys Town (Omaha, NE ) where he spent three formative years for stealing cars and "blowing things up."Currently works as a "gear head" (mechanic ) on expensive cars and drives a rebuilt '65 Plymouth, but dreams of a Dodge Hemi someday.

The much-traveled Hank has lived all over the world with a father that worked as a seismologist for Geotech Teledyne. Hank first learned guitar in Bermuda from a housekeeper who was a Calypso performer and taught him the island rhythms. Background: born in Ohio, his family eventually settled in Dallas in the early 1960's where he later formed such underground punk bands as the V-Suckers, The Cooking Ones and Special Treatment, while his mother taught Hatha Yoga. He later worked as a booking agent for early Dallas appearances by The Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks and Johnny Thunders, among others. Hank loves vintage guitars and sushi so ask him out to dinner sometime ( he hates orange vegetables so skip the shredded carrot, OK? ). Hank and Mark look a lot alike so ask to see their drivers licenses if you're unsure.

Phil Lee - (Drums, backup vocals)
Often described as Tor ( Plan 9 From Outer Space ) Johnson's younger brother because of his completely bald head, Phil is considered one of the best drummers in town and the "pump" behind the Pump'n sound. Phil's performed in such local bands as Der Gestank and Talon, and he's sat-in with practically everyone, including the legendary R. Crumb while Crumb was attending the Dallas Fantasy Comic Book Fair a few years ago. Background: born in Dallas, spent three years living in Oklahoma, and likes anything rare and bloody with plenty of fat content ( " this includes movies since he's a confessed "movie buff " ).
