Court of Honor Ceremony

March 6, 2000

Troop 285's Winter Court of Honor was held on March 6, 2000 at Sombra Del Monte Christian Church. The Court of Honor was opened by Senior Patrol Leader Jerry S.

Induction of 12 new scouts was the first order of business, with: Patrick A., Arthur C., Tim C., Thomas D., Denny H., Joseph R., Anthony S., Chris S., Justin M., Lee R., Kevin R., and Shane M. being welcomed into Troop 285.

Several sets of merit badges, rank advancements and special awards were passed out (click on these links below for full lists).

Two Eagle Scout awards were made to Donnie Cox and Greg Segura, Troop 285's one hundred fifty-third and one hundred fifty-fourth Eagles! A special speaker, Air Force Reserve Colonel John Grones gave the Eagle recognition speech, including presentation of a great video about the Berlin airlift of the 1940's. The Troop's deepest congratulations go to Donnie and Greg!
