Troop 285 - Heads Up! Here's The Latest News

Here's late breaking news of interest to the Troop, from the week of September 22nd, 2003.


The Conchas Lake campout was a lot of fun for the Scouts attending!
The Rogers family reports moving in their new home in North Carolina, and that both ex-T285 Scouts are doing well and missing the Troop. See Mr. Coles if you would like their new address.
Condolences go to the Reams family, on the loss of their daughter to complications of multiple sclerosis.
Cycling merit badge with gather at 8:30 Saturday morning for the 50 mile bike trek! See Dr. Broersma for the location!
Instruction was given by Sheryl from the Rio Grande Community Farms, on how to host visitors at the Albuquerque Open Space Corn Maze, which is John H's upcoming Eagle Project for October 4, 5 and 19.
Cycling, Fishing, Fly Fishing, Climbing, Archery, First Aid, and Emergency Preparedness merit badges were taught this week. Basic Skills Scouts worked on whipping and fusing ropes.
