| John H.'s Eagle Project is this weekend at the City of Albuquerque Open Space Corn Maze. There are shifts at 11AM and 3PM. |
| Family Camp will be coming up on October 24-26. |
| Camping, Hiking, Personal Fitness, Coin Collecting, and Emergency Preparedness merit badges were taught this week. Basic Skills Scouts worked on whipping ropes. Swimming and life saving skills will be tested next Monday. Come to the meeting, but bring swim suit, towel, and $1 entrance fee. Parents will be able to pick up Scouts at the meeting at 9PM. |
| Invitations to Troop 285's 50th Anniversary picnic, on October 18th, have now been sent (to over 350 families, mostly in the Albuquerque area). If you don't receive one, see Mr. Coles. Picnic will be at Elena Gallegos Open Space area, in the foothills. See ya there! Please RSVP by the 11th if you are planning to come - that way we can buy enough meat, drinks, etc. |
