Challenge Campout at Cannon Air Force Base and Fort Sumner, September, 1999

Troop 285 members spent a great weekend at Cannon Air Force Base, the Portales Air Show, and the Billy the Kid gravesite at Fort Sumner, NM. This was one of our "Challenge" campouts - where the Senior Patrol Leader is challenged to plan and supervise a campout. Well, this one was a great success!

Perhaps the highlight of the whole weekend - bungee racing. If you can make it to the end of the raceway, without the bungee pulling you off your feet, you'll win! Donnie C. and Jerry S. give it a try.
