Troop 285's Fall Court of Honor was held on December 6, 1999 at Sombra Del Monte Christian Church. The Court of Honor was opened by Senior Patrol Leader Jerry S.
Induction of a new scout was the first order of business, with Justin M. being welcomed into Troop 285.

Five Scouts won a special award for World Conservation:
The evening's highlight was the awarding of Eagle Scout rank to Andrew Brewer, Troop 285's one hundred fiftyth Eagle! A special speaker, Jay Hone, an Albuquerque lawyer and Eagle Scout himself, gave the Eagle recognition speech. Congratulations go out to Andrew (Keebler) on the fantastic work he has put into Scouting through the last seven years!
