Troop 285's Winter Court of Honor was held on March 8, 1999 at Hoover Middle School in Albuquerque NM. The Court of Honor was opened by Senior Patrol Leader Tim B.
Induction of a new scout was the first order of business, with Daniel K. being welcomed into Troop 285.
Several sets of merit badges, rank advancements and special awards were passed out (click on these links below for full lists).
The Badgers received the Honor Patrol award, so they will be eating first and receiving various other perks for their high level of participation in the life of Troop 285.
The evening's highlight was the awarding of Eagle Scout rank to Derek Mackel and Chris Huth, Troop 285's one hundred forty-seventh and eighth Eagles! A special speaker, Lt. Col. Mark Roland from Kirtland Air Force Base, gave the inspirational Eagle address.
