Troop 285's Fall Court of Honor was held on December 14, 1998 at Sombra Del Monte Christian Church. The Court of Honor was opened by Senior Patrol Leader Tim B.
Induction of a new scout was the first order of business, with Caleb K. being welcomed into Troop 285.
Several sets of merit badges, rank advancements and special awards were passed out (click on these links below for full lists).
The Wolverines received the Honor Patrol award, so they will be eating first and receiving various other perks for their high level of participation in the life of Troop 285.
The evening's highlight was the awarding of Eagle Scout rank to Olie Caruso, Troop 285's one hundred forty-sixth Eagle! A special speaker, Steve McKernan, Chief Executive Officer of UNM Hospital, gave the Eagle recognition speech. Congratulations go out to Olie on the fine effort he has put into Scouting through the last few years!
