1998 Junior Leader Orientation (JLO, or "jello") was held at the Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on December 4-6, 1998.
Almost 30 Scouts attended JLO this year! What a great turn-out! The training, mostly presented by Staff Patrol Scouts, was excellent. The food, at the Air Force chow hall, was tremendous. And the side tour to see the NM Air National Guard's F16 fighter jets really topped the weekend off (big thanks to Major Vic Segura for the tour!). If you didn't go, you really missed a great weekend.
