1998's 50 Miler expedition took place in Paria Canyon, Utah, over the (April 4-10) spring school break. The scouts participating in the hike were: Andrew B., Donny C., Curtis H., Derek M., Danny M., Tommy M., Daine O., Dan P., and Jerry S.
The scouters along for the "ride" were Andy Braman, Mike Cox, Christian Mondick and Wayne Prentice.
Quite a ride it was, too, considering that the van borrowed from our sponsoring organization decided to develop fuel pump troubles on the way over, and alternator failure on the way back!
In any case, some beautiful scenery and good scouting companionship was enjoyed all week long!
